Brent McCorkle has loved movies for as long as he can remember. After seeing Star Wars more than forty times, he and his brother stopped counting. These days, Brent works in the film industry as writer, director, editor, and composer. In the span of his career, he's done everything from directing commercials, to scoring documentaries, to creating award-winning films...including a project that caught the eye of Steven Spielberg, landing him a subsequent first-look deal with DreamWorks...Brent's additional narrative work, like the 2010 Doorpost finalist film, "The Rift," has garnered honorable mentions in publications such as Variety and MovieMaker. Brent currently lives in Nashville, TN with his wife of sixteen years, and their five beautiful children.
current project
 Brent's most recent project, Unconditional, is a feature-length film set to hit theaters spring 2012. It stars Lynn Collins (John Carter, Wolverine) and Micheal Ealy (Takers, Seven Pounds). Brent is currently developing two new feature scripts...more info coming soon!
